2SER annual Radiothon kicks off this Monday October 13 and runs until 5pm Saturday October 25.
2SER is a not-for-profit, independent community station, which broadcasts to the greater Sydney area on 107.3 FM and can be streamed via the link here. During Radiothon, station listeners are asked to subscribe to the station, with subscription costing as little as $33. Every dollar raised goes towards ensuring that 2ser remains local, independent and real. Listeners can subscribe by calling 02 9514 9500, in person at the Broadway studios, and can subscribe securely online.
2SER 107.3 FM is one of Australias longest running community radio stations, beginning its 30th year of broadcasting on October 1. Over the past 29 years, 2ser has maintained a focus on promoting truly alternative music from Sydney, Australia, and around the world as well as covering news and current affairs marginalised or ignored by mainstream media.
Everyone that subscribes during Radiothon also has the chance to win their share in over $40,000 worth of prizes. Prizes includes a 10 day trip in Vietnam thanks to Intrepid Travel, CD and DVD packs, a year of gigs presented by 2ser, a 6 month pass to Oxford Art Factory, and so much more.
Each person who subscribes also receives a Spunk Records CD, Chaos online voucher, a subscriber card, program guide and some 2ser lollies. Plus, the first 500 subscribers will get a voucher for a free copy of The Monthly magazine.

2SER will continue in its dedication to playing the broadest range of local and international independent music, to covering news and current affairs that really matter and to continue its commitment to promoting values of social justice.
On top of being the only contemporary Sydney-metro radio station to operate without play lists, 2SER also boasts the most diverse range of music styles in the city.
2SER's contribution to the discovery and promotion of local independent music is immeasurable, and continues through general broadcasting, as well as a number of programs dedicated to local music.
2SER also features more talks programming than any commercial station or any other community station in Sydney, covering topics as diverse as media and communications, the environment, gay and lesbian culture, film, literature, theatre and news and current affairs, week in and week out.
