Declan Kelly
Having released Tales from the Neighborhood, Declan Kelly has a deep love and respect for indigenous music inspired by his Maori heritage. Come see him in a intimate environment. Drummer Declan Kelly (Nessa Morgan, Bondi Cigars, Papa Lips) has moved out from behind the kit and stepped up to the microphone and the spotlight. A well-known face in his Bondi neighbourhood, Declan sports a combined Irish and Maori heritage. Although he calls Bondi home, Declan has nevertheless spent considerable time travelling including living in Europe whilst studying West African rhythms, and he has busked in Paris and Dublin.
Orlando Savage
Hailing from Sydney, Australia, Orlando Savage has found himself playing from the far east to the beast of London. Along the way music has led him to Cuba, Mexico and the UK with band, FlowState, in tow. Nominated for best national unsigned act of 2005 by British Music Week & The Urban Music Awards, he played with artists such as K'naan, Lily Allen, Spank Rock and The Brazilian Girls before coming home. Back in Oz and reforming (music, not himself...), he brings more of an acoustic element to Mocean this Wednesday.
