HARLEQUIN LEAGUE SET TO WOW EAST COAST, AGAIN AND AGAIN
With their debut EP We Used To Be Gods, Now We're So Plain, featuring new single Again and Again having already been picked up by triple j, Harlequin League has been announced as one of triple j's Next Crop feature artists as part of Aus Music month; joining a select few group of hand-picked and on-the-rise Australian artists including the Temper Trap and Leader Cheetah.
Care for seconds? Harlequin League has also just been announced as a nominee for the prestigious J award in the Unearthed category, alongside Art Vs Science, Cassette Kids, The John Steel Singers, Numbers Radio and the City Riots.
To celebrate and spread the good word of the ‘League, the Perth natives are bringing their face-obliterating, post-disco synth punk back to the East Coast for two whirlwind shows at MUM at World Bar in Sydney on Friday 5 December with the Small Hours and Winter Street, and at WOW at Geddes Lane on Saturday 6 December with support from Super Fun Happy Band, Cast And Crew and Killbots.
Harlequin League recently wowed audiences across the country supporting End Of Fashion throughout September, and come fresh from a string of WA dates with Children Collide. Don’t miss your last chance to see one of Perth’s newest and finest exports at peak form in 2008 before they explode into the stratosphere.
