"I think that sounds suspiciously like rock and or roll!"

"She goes boom, swagger, swagger, boom, boom, swagger, boom, boom, boom!"
In that one line the Murder City Devils encompassed all that rock n roll means to me and the effect it has on me when I hear an electric guitar.
This blog is called Boom Swagger Boom because those three little words conjure up the physical image of rock n roll.
The boom of a pyrotechnics display at a stadium show.
The swagger of someone like Mick Jagger across the stage, tight pants slung low on narrow hips.
The Boom and the Swagger is the power and the sleaze of rock n roll, whether it was made in the 50s or today and this blog will muse, analyse and discover old favourites and new rock legends in the making.
I don't claims to be a music encyclopedia.
I'm not in a band, and at the moment I am living in a cultural wasteland devoid of any life affirming live music experiences.
So if you're looking for the Wikipedia of music turn away now.
But...
If you're interested in reading thoughts inspired by the devil's music and reading about some new artists who haven't yet broken through the placenta of the mainstream, then come in my friend, come in.
Welcome to my Nightmare.
