KING JACK
“You tell 'em it’s fate that they're destined to take, a road that'll hound them until they break …”
King Jack return to Melbourne for a show at Revlover (Upstairs) 9th August.
Ask any band worth their salt what the road to success is like, and they’ll all tell you that it ain’t pretty. However, this young band are speeding ahead at a breakneck pace, and have already graced the stage with top-gear headline acts such as Dallas Crane, The Fumes and Dirty Little Secrets.
King Jack are Out Walking once again, on tour throughout June & July, to promote the forthcoming release of their second EP, Cuts Like Cuts
King Jacks’ electric and somewhat unpredictable stage show has the band currently pulling full houses in their home town, and quickly building a devoted fan base with every performance Australia wide. Lead vocalist and primary songwriter Roland Ellis has seemingly perfected the ability to fill the room with uncertainty and desperation.
King Jack's Cuts Like Cuts, released in Australia in July, is the bands 2nd EP and is a perfect representation of simple and authentic production that sits somewhere between early Kings of Leon and The Vines, inviting the listener into this diverse and eclectic record.
These are finely crafted songs with a poignant slant. It’s a telling sign that this young Sydney band have a bright future and some truly great records up their collective sleeves.
