July 20th 2008 12:15
LAMPLIGHT
FRIDAY AUGUST 15th at the
NORTHCOTE SOCIAL CLUB
with JORDIE LANE and THE SPOILS
Lamplight the album was released by Lamplight the band, at the end of March at a sold out launch at Melbourne's Northcote Social Club, a few weeks later, the first single Ship in A Bottle reached # 1 on Triple J’s Unearthed Charts.
Next, Lamplight conquer performances in Adelaide, Brisbane and Sydney and begin to prepare for what will no doubt be their hometown show of the year on 15 August, to finish their Ship In A Bottle Tour.
While preparing for this cracker of a gig they have been invited to represent Australia at Popkomm, Berlin in October.
They are now also on standby to perform at Reeperbahn Festival and Iceland Airwaves Festival with the aim of taking it as far as they can this year - why not ? It seems to be their destiny.
Since the release of their self titled album just months ago, Lamplight have become one of the new Australian bands to watch, as they quickly continue to climb the music industry ladder.
Jump on the boat that Lamplight have created, and catch their last date of the Ship In A Bottle Tour (if you are in Melbourne).
Lamplight by Lamplight is out now through VITAMIN RECORDS
