Grafton Primary | Walking On AIR

November 5th 2008 03:52
"Grafton Primary’s recorded music is brilliant and well crafted...
live is like the icing on the cake." -- Faster Louder

“A new addition to the Ausralian indie/electro cannon, we can only hope they keep
on making albums as killer and hypnotic as this one.” -- In the mix

“Make sure you catch this superb local band on the verge of tremendous
commercial success...” -- The Brag

Electro-rockers Grafton Primary continue to rise. Their EP Relativity has just been nominated for two AIR Awards: Best Australian Independent Single/EP, and Best Australian Independent Dance/Electronica Release. The AIR Awards are run by the Australian Independent Record Labels Association for 100% independent artists. The 2008 Awards ceremony will be held at The Corner Hotel in Melbourne on Monday 24 November.

Since releasing their stunning debut album Eon in September this year, Grafton Primary have gone on to invoke stage invasions, create frenzies at the Parklife Festivals, and now the band continue to rock dance floors around the nation on their triple j presented Eon Album Tour (Part 2).

Grafton Primary bring their riotous electro party to Sydney and Newcastle this week, before making their way to Victoria, Tasmania, and Canberra before coming home to play the Homebake Festival, and bringing in the New Year at both Falls Festival events.

Grafton Primary’s album Eon, which came out on September 13, debuted at #1 on the iTunes Dance/Electronic Chart and #7 iTunes on the main chart, continues to gather praise from the punters and the pundits.

The first single ‘She Knows It’ is now available on iTunes with three remixes by Swiss
duo Cryptonites (Arctic Monkeys, Coldplay), New York programming wunderkind Kap10kurt (Dave Gahan, The Bravery, Moby) and Grafton Primary (Faker, Dukes Of Windsor) themselves!

Grafton Primary show their colours, bright and true on Eon - they make their stand here and now.

The Battle of the Double B Cups…

‘You should feel it right away when you listen to this album, not only is the sound raw and awesome, but the vocalist is also incredible… This band completely blew me away’.
Kensho Onuki (KENROCKS.NET)

MAMMAL | Tour

October 29th 2008 21:02
“Mammal have managed to capture the manic energy they create on stage and reproduce it in the studio” Joanna Tilley | TNT Mag

MAMMAL

...travel all over the countryside!

Melbourne rockers MAMMAL kick start phase two of The Majority album tour next week when they ride into the sunset for a mind numbing rock-a-thon cramming over twenty gigs across a mere forty four days.

After selling out venues across Australia on the first leg of The Majority album tour in September, phase two will storm through a number of regional centres as well as select capital city dates through out Victoria, New South Wales, Queensland and South Australia throughout November and December.

First stop will be Belgrave (Victoria) on Friday 7 November where Mammal play Ruby's Lounge and then they do it all over again at Ballarat’s Karova Lounge on Saturday 8 November before packing their gear and reliving their very own Groundhog Day over the next two months.

Now it’s your turn to feel energised! Prepare to be impressed when Mammal raise the bar and define a new level of hi-energy rock performance.

Start your gig preparation early people as this is going to get crazy!
