MUSCLES - RETURNS WITH ‘YOUNGER & IMMATURE’ EP TOUR
You’ve heard the infectious echoes of his songs, you got up to get down at his show and yes, heard the stories; true, false, or otherwise, but hark from the rooftops, the beat wizard who delivered everyone’s favourite ode to iced dairy is back! Come this October, Muscles will make his triumphant return to the indie throne with the release of his Younger & Immature EP.
Clocking in at just over 20 minutes, it’s a hard hitting, no fuss collection of deep techno swirls, lucious indie sensibilties and driving beats all wrapped up in the Muscles brand of classic pop (with it’s fair share of ‘Ohhhs’ and ‘Ahhhs’ thrown in for good measure). The EP is a labour of love from the one-man-juggernaut that has somewhat consumed him in a cloud of love, lust, and positive energy.
The first taste off the forthcoming EP is the lead banger "Girl Crazy Go!" (see the suitably/equally crazy music video HERE), an apt slice of the Muscles pie with it’s ginormous shout aloud chorus and catchy-as-hell enthusiasm. The single comes accompanied by remixes from Beni and Them Jeans.
Younger and Immature EP is Muscles wearing his heart on his sleeve, givin’ the bird to the nay-sayers and a love letter to the fans. It’s peace, love and ecstasy’s little brother… an oxymoron of sorts because this little kid is growing up.
Muscles’ Younger & Immature EP out October 29.
TRACKLIST
1. Forever
2. Girl Crazy Go
3. Love Struck
4. Beat The Rush
5. Northern Beaches
But what good is a Muscles’ release without a heart-stopping live show to go along with it? The good news is that Muscles will venture out on to the road this November to deliver the live shows he’s known and loved for around the world. Promising to deliver the colourful debauchery of the Muscles kind, the excitement in the air is hard to ignore. The tour will see Muscles delivering a performance from the one-man-juggernaut in a cloud of love, lust and positive energy.
Joining Muscles on the road will be a bunch of friends including Strange Talk, Cassian, Purple Sneakers DJs and a whole bunch of other local supports.
