My Disco head out once again on a national tour in support of their second album 'Paradise', released earlier this year. The October dates will be the band's last shows before touring Japan to promote the release of 'Paradise' in special Japanese format.
The band plan to spend the rest of the year writing new material for album number three, while devising an extensive tour of the world starting in New Zealand February 2009.
My Disco is a Melbourne based collaboration between long time friends Liam Andrews, Rohan Rebeiro and Benjamin Andrews. Their second album 'Paradise' was recorded in late 2007 by Steve Albini, at his studio, Electrical Audio in Chicago. It is the band’s most refined and minimal work to date. Structurally unique and recorded entirely in the analogue domain, it represents the band’s visceral live sound more than any other record.
