On a Wing and a Prayer Tours

Fiona O’Loughlin - comedy superstar, dancing queen, mother of five and recovering alcoholic….
After an amazing sell-out season at the Adelaide Fringe, Fiona O'Loughlin is on the road spreading her fabulous cheer, without the .05 (and beyond) chimp on her back. Yes, she's sober and funnier than ever before... what?
Ah, you hadn't read all about it? Don't worry she'll tell you all about it in person, but don't interrupt. She’s back and it’s already been a very big year!
In 2009 Fiona O’Loughlin fell from grace and landed with a mighty thud. With her popularity never higher, somehow she managed to well and truly tumble off the wagon and onto the pages of the national media. She turned on her favourite child (she'll tell you that’s just not right!) and she took up some much needed therapy.
After a damn good run on Dancing With the Stars, O’Loughlin finished up 2009 much better off than she started. In amongst the entire media furor she’s written a new show and toured the nation leaving thousands breathless.
The comic’s very public battle with the bottle has certainly taken her on a journey. As is always the case with the legendary mum of five though – it’s been a very funny journey. Her current show On a Wing and a Prayer is her own account of getting the dancing shoes off her feet and the drinking devil off her back.
On a Wing and a Prayer is a mightily uproarious treat - a sneak peek into an extraordinary year for the extraordinarily witty woman.
She is playing three very special shows at The Gong IMB Theatre, IPAC on April 24, Sydney’s Parade Theatre, NIDA April 30, and the Canberra Theatre, Playhouse May 2.
Poignant, and always honest On A Wing and A Prayer is above all hilarious. O’Loughlin may not be your usual image of an angel, but her tales drawn from life are sent from comedy heaven.
“Deliciously wicked confessions. *****” (The Age)
“My stomach muscles are still aching...this woman is really, really funny ****1/2” Sunday Age, (Melbourne)
“Her attitude of confessional, insouciance, and her refreshingly blunt stories provide a lot of great laughs”. (Chortle, UK)
“O’Loughlin is like the funniest friend you could hope to have, honest, upfront & witty****” (One4review, UK)
