Dark Mirror Pictures are proud to present 'Carmilla Hyde', a Sneak Peak Preview.
Carmilla Hyde heralds the feature film directorial debut of critically acclaimed Australian writer Dave de Vries, author of powerhouse comics such as The Phantom, Star Trek and Batman: Legends of The Dark Knight.
Starring Anni Lindner with an ensemble cast of some of Adelaide's finest rising stars, Carmilla Hyde takes its audience on a spellbinding journey as Millie transforms from repressed nerd to wild and sexy Carmilla Hyde.
The film was shot over 3 1/2 weeks showcasing Adelaide's inner urban pop culture and
utilizing a small, highly professional multi-tasking crew, in locations ranging from Hindley Streets red light district strip clubs and seedy alleyways, trendsetters playground Henley beach, to heritage mansions in Mitcham and Mt Lofty.
With a tight and edgy original score by composer Glenn Wagland and featuring music from The Vampire Project', and Mark of Cain , the film's soundtrack gives Carmilla Hyde an explosive energy and promises to be a stand alone hit.
Carmilla Hyde was written and directed by Dave de Vries and is the first feature film from the team at Dark Mirror Pictures, which includes producers Andrei Gostin, Fiona De Caux and Tony Ganzis.
Tickets are available by invitation only and can be purchased online at our website darkmirrorpictures.com using the paypal link. Tickets are $20.00 each and include Coopers beer, fine Barossa wines, and yummy food from CAOS CAFE.
We have the cinema from 8.00-12.00pm so there will be plenty of time to network and mingle before and after the screening.
