Almost one year to the day from the release of their debut album Guillotine, indie champions BRITISH INDIA
Proudly presented by Channel [V] and triple j, the Thieves album launch tour will hit Adelaide next weekend when British India rock The Governor Hindmarsh on Friday 1 August. British India will then make their way to Bryon Bay to kick start the local Festival season at Splendour In The Grass, playing the mainstage on Sunday 3 August.
A tight cohesive album, by a most promising and talented young rock & roll band, Thieves celebrates the garage pop which has characterised British India’s initial success, and demonstrates their growth both as songwriters and musicians.
I Said I’m Sorry is the first single from the band’s impressive sophomore record, and currently one of the most requested songs on triple j. British India recently filmed a music clip for the lead single with Melbourne- based production company Moop Jaw (Powderfinger, The Getaway Plan, Young & Restless).
