Central Coast overachievers, Short Stack can now proudly add an ARIA certified gold album for STACK IS THE NEW BLACK to their list of triumphs.
It’s been a momentous year for Shaun, Andy and Bradie, including a debut Number1 ARIA album, four hit singles, three headline tours and Best Music Video for‘Sway Sway Baby (IF Awards 2009). Not to mention millions of plays on MySpace and YouTube for their music videos and fly-on-the-wall series Short Stack TV.
Produced by Trevor Steel and Craig Porteils, STACK IS THE NEW BLACK mashes elements from punk, glam and electro and is winning over more fans every day.
Stackmania is set to again rock Australia in April, with a national tour covering all mainland capital cities and shows for the first time in Canberra, Newcastle and Nowra.
Short Stack will be performing all the hits from their debut album, including their latest single Sweet December. The tour will close with a concert performance at the iconic Sydney Opera House. This unique black tie event will also offer an exclusive preview of new tracks from their highly anticipated second album.
Short Stack has been recording their second album over the past few months at Grove Studios in Sydney with the Essex Boys and will be mixed in the USA in coming months.
