THE LIVING END REACH GOLD ALBUM STATUS IN JUST ONE WEEK
The Living End’s highly acclaimed new album ‘White Noise’ reached GOLD album status in just one week, romping into the charts at No. 2 behind the ABBA juggernaut of ‘Mamma Mia’. In its first week, ‘White Noise’ achieved more sales than its predecessor which debuted at No. 1 and went on to reach Platinum. It also signals one of the biggest first weeks for an Australian artist in the last year. It was a huge week for ‘White Noise’ which is generally touted as The Living End’s finest album to date, hailed by Rolling Stone as “their best album yet”. The hit single ‘White Noise’ also jumped from #22 to #12 on the singles chart, making The Living End’s week just that much better!
