THE ART TO SUPPORT ALL SHOWS!
The Frontier Touring Company is excited to announce the support act for Thirty Seconds to Mars’ Australia & New Zealand tour this coming winter will be Sydney band The Art.
Beginning in the eclectic suburb of Newtown, The Art left our shores for the United States.
The band played SXSW and completed two mammoth US cross country tours, before recording their first album in Texas with producer Frenchie Smith (Jet, Trail of Dead, The Dandy Warhols).
The Art’s increasing popularity and ability to consistently sell out venues in the US, such as The Troubadour, The Viper Room and Spaceland made people sit up and notice.
Returning to Australia in late 2009 The Art supported Marilyn Manson and Them Crooked Vultures. They were on the bill for the 2010 Big Day Out and also supported one of their biggest influences, The Pixies, on their most recent tour.
Fans can hardly wait to have Thirty Seconds to Mars’ back again. The upcoming shows will give avid fans a chance to rock out to their current single Closer To The Edge and, in turn, open doors for new listeners to experience the astronomical performance that is Thirty Seconds to Mars.
Coupled with Tomo’s sweltering six-string and the imaginative percussion of his brother Shannon Leto, Jared Leto’s oozing charisma and wild vocal ability will make for more than a memorable evening.
