underground genre commercial recognition

Bringing the sound of bassline house to Oz in September
With the rise and rise of tracks like Wiley's 'Wearing My Rolex', Dizzee Rascal's 'Flex' and Leathal Bizzle/Dxp's 'Keys to the Bentley', Bassline house is the latest underground genre to gain commercial recognition - and with that here comes the scene's #1 producer, Dexplicit.
Mobo and Urban Music Award winning artist Dexplicit has torn a hole through the UK club scene with a string of bass heavy productions that have found currency on floors around the country, and more recently on radio and across the globe.
From messing about with beats at the age of 13 to heavy rotation in the early days of pirate radio across London, Dexplicit is today producing and remixing the finest artists in the world of Urban UK. He produced Lethal Bizzle's top 10 hit 'POW' and the current smash 'Keys to the Bentley' (a retort to Wiley's 'Wearing My Rolex') and has remixed Chris Brown's 'Kiss Kiss', the Prodigy and the Franchise Boys. His track 'Bulla Cake' is attributed with igniting wider interest in the 4/4 bassline sound, and his rework of MIA's 'Pull up da People' took the sound to the US.
Having conquered the States and Europe with his unique and powerful sound, Dexplicit is on route to Oz... an artist that is about to blow - big time!!
