ANNOUNCE JULY REGIONAL TOUR
The Vasco Era are hitting the road again taking in regional shows following a support tour with UK’s Placebo touting The Vasco Era as ‘the best live band that we’ve seen in years!’ The hard-working band continued with a national tour in support of their new album Lucille and most recently a successful run with label mates, Gyroscope. On that tour FasterLouder describes the band:

All of their eccentricities intact… I could not anticipate what I was about to witness… nor just how unique the band’s lead singer, Sid O’Neil, truly is. The band pulled out all the stops… It was the quintessential performance to define Melbourne rock ‘n’ roll.”
The band - vocalist and guitarist Sid O'Neil, brother and bassist Ted and drummer Michael Fitzgerald - had a year or so to write the songs that would eventually form their second album innards. Working closely with producer Scott Horscroft (Silverchair, The Presets, Sleepy Jackson), the band entered the recording process that would prove to test their collective mettle and expand their musical horizons.
The result is a record that is rich in atmosphere and depth of feeling that takes the listener on thrilling aural journey from beginning to end. There are moments of rolling thunder and sweet slow sliders. Lucille is a story with romance, dreams, desires, angst, love, resolve…the journey between two lovers.
