NEIGHBOURS FAVOURITES RELEASE “UNFORGETTABLE” TRACK

Unforgettable is performed by Neighbours's favourite Rachel Kinski, played by actress Caitlin Stasey. This original song was written by Dean Geyer exclusively for an episode featuring his character Ty Harper, a singer/song writer. With Ty on guitar, Rachel performs Unforgettable at the Erinsborough High School formal.

When Unforgettable first aired on Neighbours in May this year, the reaction from viewers was overwhelming resulting in the song being released on Friday (August 8) on iTunes and downloaded here.

KEANE CELEBRATE NEW ALBUM WITH FREE SINGLE DOWNLOAD

Keane celebrate the completion of their hugely anticipated third album by giving away a brand new song, Spiralling - to fans for free.

The track will be made available to download for free from today for one week from keanemusic.com.

Spiralling is written and produced by Keane and was recorded in Berlin's Teldex Studio earlier this year. Tom Chaplin describes Spiralling as "a train of thought about human endeavour, built on an outrageous groove". Sounding unlike anything they have ever recorded before, it bears the unmistakeable confidence of a band in its prime.

Girl sees the band return to form, blazing in to the most prodigious and prolific phase of their fifteen year career. DEERHUNTER'S MICROCASTLE

Bradford Cox has been mighty busy of late. He recently released an album under the guise of Atlas Sound and has an upcoming single with Jay Reatard. And now he’s set to return with a new album from his main outfit, Deerhunter.

Microcastle is the follow-up to 2006’s Cryptograms and was recorded as a four-piece consisting of Lockett Pundt, Joshua Fauver and Moses Archuleta. Cole Alexander of The Black Lips also appears on the album.

The first single will be Nothing Ever Happened. You can hear it now by visiting the band's MySpace page.

Microcastle is out in October through 4AD/ Remote Control.

Almost one year to the day from the release of their debut album Guillotine, indie champions BRITISH INDIA
are back to launch their new album Thieves, featured on triple j last week.

Proudly presented by Channel [V] and triple j, the Thieves album launch tour will hit Adelaide next weekend when British India rock The Governor Hindmarsh on Friday 1 August. British India will then make their way to Bryon Bay to kick start the local Festival season at Splendour In The Grass, playing the mainstage on Sunday 3 August.

A tight cohesive album, by a most promising and talented young rock & roll band, Thieves celebrates the garage pop which has characterised British India’s initial success, and demonstrates their growth both as songwriters and musicians.
