Yo La Tengo hit Australia next week on the back of their latest album 'Popular Songs'. Playful winsome and optimistic, 'Popular Songs' finds Yo La Tengo producing their most rewarding album since their breakthrough effort 'And Then Nothing Turned Itself Inside Out' almost 10 years ago.
As well as treating fans to new material, Yo La Tengo will be performing a few old gems from what's undoubtedly one of the most critically lauded indie back catalogs.
In a first for Australian audiences, Sydney and Melbourne fans will have the opportunity to witness the 'Freewheelin' Yo La Tengo Show' - an intimate affair with the band play semi-acoustic, off the cuff, performing and discussing your requests.
